Summary

This news story discusses the fact that nowadays technology and environment changes influence the system of education. Kids print their notes instead of scribbling notes by hand; sitting in rows, reading from textbooks and listening are out of date. Business leaders and educators rethink the blueprint of American education to help students get better preparation to exist in the 21st century. Knowing more about the word, thinking outside the box, becoming smarter about new sources of information, and developing good people skill will help students have more advantage to fit in the 21th century.

Reaction
In the 21st century, people have a successful life not only relying on their academic score but also from the way they think and their social ability. Technology and new knowledge are updating; therefore, changes make people be influenced a lot. Nowadays, students have to tell what is correct knowledge and news quickly, and do not always believe the textbook. They have to have their own thinking and viewpoint. The schools in 21st the century not only teach students the knowledge which is in the textbook, but also help students create their own thinking. Schools should understand nowadays changes and try to change their teaching style, so students can follow this generation easily. I think that a school’s teaching is an important factor in a person’s thinking for their whole life.
